Extremely shallow drop, especially designed for riders with a high out of saddle position. Indeed, Deda design allows gripping the handlebars in the low position even while pedalling with the saddle high up, with obvious advantages in terms of thrust power and steering precision.
Very compact reach, perfect for modern brake/gear controls. The patented, multi-position, Continuous Incremental Radius design over comes the limitations of the anatomical shape, which has just one natural position.

Ram 2 Mike Giant- Cinelli
Master of black and white, and representational leading figure of the mid-1990s underground movement in San Francisco, Giant is internationally known for his graffiti, his skateboards, his tattoos and the immaculate precision of his graphics. For the last two years he has been working on an ongoing collaboration with Cinelli which has included catalogue cover art, posters, handlebar tape and this year's central showpiece the Cinelli RAM Mike Giant Edition, a limited edition of the legendary first ever integrated carbon fibre stem and handlebar.

The shape of the Ram bars have been slightly modified and the end result is an even more aggressive product, something between a Manta Ray and Formula One car.
The palm section on the top of the handlebars has now been reduced by 6%, and the ergonomic zones on the underside of the section have been improved, obtaining the "Thumb Zone" a surface recess for resting thumbs, useful both in emphasized (such as climbing) and relaxed phases of the ride.
The cable routing is wide, fluid and flowing, their output is integrated into an advanced position at the start of the computer mount (Manta Deck) significantly improving braking and shifting performance.
The shape of the drops follow a parabolic curve that ensure a constant grab, never too deep(Parabolic Progressive Action).
The unidirectional carbon fibre has an optimal oriented stratification, able to keep the weight of the Ram 3 to only 410 grams (size 42-120).

The monocoque RAM handlebar in full Carbon fibre follows the distinguished shape of RAM. The bend of the drops is not just round, but follows a variable radius (Variable Radius Concept - VRC) providing a better and more comfortable position on the bike and the brake levers can be reached easily and safely. The layers of T700 High Modulus Carbon fibre are overlapped according to the greatest points of stress. The top section which follows the shape of RAM, has been developed to offer more comfort and to create suitable zones for the position of the hands: NEST ZONE is an area shaped to "nest" the palm of the hand in the high position on the brake levers. THUMB ZONE is an area in the central part near the stem, created to support the thumb more comfortably in a resting position. The end section of the drop has been extended to improve and secure the hold on the low grip, often not considered by many manufacturers. The Variable Radius Concept round drops reduce to 77 mm the distance of the brake levers and at the same time reduce the depth and height of the handlebar. The cables run inside the handlebar.
